Some highlights of the day were...Cinnamon rolls for breakfast (of course) with a morning gift of gum, CTR ring and mustache bracelet. Lunch at the Bun Basket with her sisters and mom. (Tarin gave her the new Taylor Swift CD that was just released today!) Orange Leaf after school with Chloe, Kinsy, Kennedi, Kalyn, Kate, Bailey, Sarah and mom. Dinner (Sticky Fingers from Wingers) with Tarin and Kids (Danny is flying to New York), grandma, mom and dad. A little Catch Phrase fun. Some gifts were: Toms boots, Chi cheetah flat iron and a Pandora bracelet with an ice skate charm!

Happy Birthday Paige!
Today is Paige's 13th birthday. It honestly feels like yesterday since she was born and I can't believe she's a teenager now. I love her so much and am so proud she is my daughter.
UEA Weekend
Terry, Paige and I spent a fun weekend in St. George for UEA. We arrived on Thursday and enjoyed dinner and a movie (Here Comes the Boom).
Friday we had fun hiking around and especially enjoyed "squishy rock". Then we went to Santa Clara to Grandma Tobler's for lunch. Trish works there and was our waitress. It was tasty. After lunch we visited the Jacob Hamblin home. Later that evening we went to Aladin at the Tuacahn Theatre.
Saturday morning we went to the St. George temple. Paige wanted to do baptisms. It was very crowded but Paige said she wanted to wait.
After the temple Terry golfed while Paige and I shopped. After dinner that evening we went back to the Tuacahn Theatre to see Hairspray. It was a great show!
After sacrament meeting on Sunday we headed home early so we could see baby Claire (and her parents, ha ha) before they headed home to Logan. Danny, Tarin and kids joined us later for our favorite Sunday night activity...Amazing Race!

Claire Juline- Sept. 13, 2012
Well the most recent event in the Preece family has been the birth of Claire Juline Preece. The proud parents are Richie and Lauren. Lauren checked into the hospital around 7 p.m. on Sept. 12th and so we all raced up to Logan to be there when little Claire was born. (Who knew we'd have to wait until 6:17 the following morning!)
As you can see by the pictures, she was well worth the wait! She was 8 lbs 13 oz, 20 inches long and is as cute as they come. Richie and Lauren are doing such a great job as first time parents and they seem to glow with happiness.

Let's Give it a Try!
Tonight for Relief Society Nicki taught a blogging class. I honestly had no clue how to even begin to start a blog. She did a great job and I can't believe I actually made a blog! I want to use this blog to keep our family history. My plan is to post major events and yearly print it out into a book for our family. I have never been one to keep a journal, so I am hoping this will be an easier way to keep track of important dates and events. Wish me luck!
